  The Constant Mindchatter After You Leave

  i've been out almost 2 years now and consider myself wide awake to watchtower propaganda and well on my way to recovery from the mental abuse we've all experienced.. one thing that just will not go is that i constantly think of jwism and watchtower and get myself all annoyed at their lies and blatant twisting of facts in their broadcasts and magazines.

  it's so bad that it's the first thing i think of when i wake up, then i have these mental arguments in my head proving the jw teachings false and then getting annoyed because no jw will listen even if you tried to tell them.

  i call this constant thinking and mental reasoning and mental arguing "mindchatter".

  Now, the MSU women Rowers have come forward with their alligations against him. He was their doctor from 1998 to 2016. Eighteen (18) years.

  Some in authority at MSU continued for years to cover up abuse so as not to tarnish the "good" name of their school, also they wanted to keep their job and paychecks coming without any care for their students welfare.

  WT / JW..org does the exact same thing! Trying to preserve the "good" name of their manmade up religion because they like living at their lakeside estate, and never worry about "working" in the real world. They have no regard for anyone but themselves!

  New Loophole Created: You can cheat on your spouse without him/her being able to divorce you

  the new "pillowgate" video exposed a loophole in the witnesses´s thinking, showing how dangerous and stupid legalism is.. this loophole is sure to destroy many people´s lives.. 1) they said that two men masturbating at the same time in front of each other does not constitute "porneia".. 2) "porneia" is the only biblical reason for divorce.. 3) from 1) we can also get two women masturbating in front of each other, or a man and a woman masturbating in front of each other, does not constitute "porneia".4) most people would consider masturbating at the same time with another person to be cheating, and a logical reason for divorce.. so this will lead to many witnesses going to the elders and being told that they cannot divorce this person who clearly cheated on them.

  then, if this person (the "innocent mate") divorces and marries someone else, then that person would be the one possibly disfellowshipped!the implications of the loophole are so stupid and so damaging!i predict another flip-flop.

  "considering things more closely, this is "porneia"... or doubling down on it ("sorry but that is what the biblical limits are") or just fading away into those things that only 1% of jw´s know it´s a rule....

  @Jahalapeno. Thank you for sharing a very sad ordeal and letting us understand how someone else's spoken and written rules can impact another so horribly.

  So glad you woke up from these hypercritical TV evangelists.

  GB member "Tight Pants Tony" Morris protests so much, it makes me think that he was either:

  Caught too many times staring at young men with a weird smile or look in his eye, that brothers have gone to him in the spirit of Matt 18 to speak to him first to tell him to quit looking at their butts or muscles or genital area or or or. Guys are handsome. It is normal to smile at something pleasant but Tony seems like he can't get enough at looking at all the hundreds of men that surround him each day. So if he can't look, no one else can either.

  Or, his wondering eye has been noted too many times by other GB members and they are questioning HIS sexuality so to "red herring" them, he constantly rants about homosexuals and tight pants, since we all know only homosexuals wear tight pants. Right? Certainly, old, fat Tony, can never fit into anything but his big boy suits with his chin(s) still overlaping his collar.

  Looking at his age, weight and puffiness, I don't think his wife is getting anything... if she ever has in the past 20 years.

  Is Tony Tight Pants sexually frustrated? I would say, yes.

  Is he the one that proposed this Welcome to Bethel video talking to young men and women about their own private functions and thoughts? Enslaving them to work for free is not enough for these slave drivers? They have to micromanage how they sleep and if they wake up with a wet dream it is their fault??? Tony and this new introduction to Beth hell video is disgusting.

  @Bobby. This Pillow talk OP was placed in the jokes and humor section. Like Orphan Crow said..."Is your funny bone broke?". Or, are you one of those sanitized JW's I see in the videos, the ones who look like they not only left their brains at the door but also their manhood. Why would you allow someone else to manage everything you did 24/7? Why?

  i've already posted in this forum but i haven't told you my story.

  nowadays i'm a pimo in my late 20s from spain.. i was born in the cult and i can say that during my whole childhood and most of my teenage years i believed in this.

  however, i felt that here was something wrong with me, as i wasn't comfortable telling people i was jw, talking about jw stuff, nor did i feel "excited" and "grateful" whenever a watchtower publication told me that i should.

  So happy to read your story and that you have a positive outlook for your future.

  Who knows but that with your leaving the lies of WT, your mom might wake up too. I was devoted for too many decades until my daughter gently and kindly said, "Mom, I think you need to read this". This was a copy of Crisis of Conscience by Ray Franz. As her mother, I felt I needed to know what she had read, seeing that this was a book not just frowned upon but forbidden by WT. I started reading on my computer at 5PM. After reading through the night, I was out of WT by 5AM the next morning.

  i have been having doubts for many years and as most jw's i have certainly not done myself a favor by suppressing all of my critical thinking.

  i am married with 3 kids and my wife and i are inactive, but my wife has made it very clear in speech and action that she wants to go to all meetings, field service, and indoctrinate our kids.

  but i know that they have crafted themselves a legal loophole infinite loop.

  so i was thinking that i should just sue the congregation that i know fucked me over.

  Are you extraordinarily rich that you say you are not suing for money but pride? Going to Court takes all kinds of money before you finally see a Judge.

  If you start with one Lawyer but don't think he will represent you correctly, you have to fire him and start with a new one. The new Lawyer needs time to get back up to speed with your case. That all takes time, energy and money. Do you have deep pockets because your pride was hurt, badly?

  Are you wanting revenge? Most of us have been hurt but found our life is more precious to live without WT in it, so we turn our backs on these hurtful people and strive to live a good, long and stressfree life away from the Borg,

  Want revenge? Stay healthy. Eat right. Go to the gym. Don't eat or drink your sorrow away. In a few years when you bump into any Jdubs you know... they will still be waiting for this impossible dream of WT/JW..org to come, which it never will. They can't help but look stressed out. You on the other hand, woke up and are in charge of your own life now.

  Wouldn't you rather spend what little time each of us really has on this planet, doing something enjoyable even fun, than stressed out with a Court case?

  What can you put your time, money and effort into that would make you happy? Today, next week, next year? What our your short term goals? Long term goals?

  PS Someone did sue WT over a sex abuse problem, and won BUT they stated that they didn't do it for money, so even though they won, they were awarded no monetary benefits because they stated they wanted none... So, the Judge gave them none. They were out of pocket having to pay their own Lawyer and Court costs, themselves.

  i was born january 15, 1947in mt.

  carmel hospital, detroit, michigan.. within six months of my birth, my mother would bundle her baby boy into a blanket and board an american airlines propeller-driven plane--in effect, leaving my father behind--to return to her hometown, ft. worth, texas.. my dad had an excellent job working for cadillac as an inspector.

  it was a union job.

  Terry, Have you recently posted which jail and prison(s) you were sent to?

  Has anyone made a collection of all the names of the young brothers sent to prison because of WT? If so, I am not aware of it.

  This sweet young brother I know, the FBI came to his house after breakfast, handcuffed him, and put him in their car... all with neighbors watching. Did that make a good witness for WT? Not at all.
